Saturday got off to a late start. But I was still lucky to get under the pavilion. Another vendor was nice enough to share her space with me. It was a good thing too. Because we had a downpour at about 10:30am.
I see now why so many vendors opted to be no shows. We had about half the vendors as usual. I was fortunate enough to see and old friend and local business owner of Skatepark of Tampa and The Bricks Ybor. He introduced me to a fellow Ybor Market vendor Avril from the Happy Baker. Boy does she make some delicious gluten free banana berries bread.
The rain was so bad the chickens too shelter under a chair under the pavilion. As you can imagine foot traffic was decreased considerably. Still folks came out and supported local small business…Hooray for that.
